A Single Tent Held the Whole Day, and It Was Dressed as a Room
Avery and Nick held their entire wedding in one sailcloth structure at Riverfront Park in North Charleston, and the design brief was a Charleston living room rather than a party tent. Gold Leaf Event Design is credited with the work. The wedding took place in early autumn. For planning, the useful point is that nothing moved to a second space. Every part of the celebration took place under the same canvas, so the room had to work for all of it. Dressing a tent as a room, not a marquee, means the decisions are the ones you would make at home: where people sit, what they look at, and whether the space feels lived in rather than rented. A couple thinking about a tent for a fall date can use this wedding as an example of the one-room approach, with a single interior done well from start to finish.
