Battery-powered flying taxis have moved past years of testing and are beginning real passenger service, a shift that matters most in a state where crossing from one coast to the other can eat an entire afternoon. Building the aircraft turned out to be the easy part; turning them into an everyday convenience for commuters between Naples, Palm Beach and Miami is the work still ahead.
