The American SetBehind Every Champion, a Team of Two
Town & Country turned its lens away from the trophy this week and onto the two people who rarely stand in its light: Candi and Corey Gauff. The magazine's profile introduces them on their own terms, as the parents who have stood alongside their daughter through her ascent in professional tennis. It is a fitting reminder that behind any young champion's rise sits a family doing the steadier, less photographed work of raising her.
