A Best Picture Winner Returns to the Big Screen, Just Ahead of the Season
Ten years on, "Moonlight" is back in cinemas, with screenings beginning Friday, October 2. It's a welcome chance for anyone who first watched it at home, or who just wants to see it again as it was meant to be seen, in the dark with a full house. Barry Jenkins has been looking back on the film in a new conversation with Vanity Fair, and he talks about how much it still means to him a decade later. The timing suits the island well: early October, before the season fills every evening, leaves room for a quiet night at the movies.
