Catherine Zeta-Jones Set the Terms, and a Marriage of More Than Twenty-Five Years Followed
Michael Douglas has a new interview out, and in it he recalls the moment, early in their courtship, when Catherine Zeta-Jones told him plainly what she expected if they were going to keep going. The two also worked together on screen, but the story he chose to tell is about her clarity. They married in 2000, so her terms seem to have been met. On the island, where long marriages are admired and a woman who knows her own mind is admired more, that will strike readers as good sense rather than drama.
