Ben Affleck, the Oscar winner, says Instagram has banned him twice, and in both cases the charge was impersonating Ben Affleck. He told it on himself, without any apparent complaint. The platform's systems looked at the actual man and decided he couldn't possibly be who he said he was. On the island we've long preferred to know people in person rather than through a feed, so a man whose real self proved too convincing for a screen sounds to us like someone worth meeting.
