The To-Do List Finally Gets a Worthy Cover

Around here, what you write down matters as much as what you do — the morning list, the guest count, the note that has to go out before lunch. A new round999 out this week makes the same case for the page itself: that the notebook holding those thoughts, whether it is a grocery list or something kept private, is overdue for the kind of quality already given to everything else on the desk. It is a small point, but a familiar one on this island, where the ordinary object is rarely left plain.
