Two Screen Legends Lend Their Names to Parkinson's Research, Together Again

Michael J. Fox and Harrison Ford, paired once more after their run together on Shrinking, have stepped in front of the camera for a new campaign on behalf of the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the organization Fox founded to fund research toward a cure for Parkinson's disease. It is the kind of collaboration that carries weight well beyond a press release — two of American film's most enduring names, choosing to spend their considerable pull on a cause rather than a product. For a community that pays close attention to which names attach themselves to which causes, this pairing is worth noting.
