Manassas Owners: Commercial Approval Puts Airline Traffic in the Pattern
The FAA has authorized commercial service at Washington Manassas Airport, opening the way for scheduled flights at a field that has operated almost entirely as general aviation. Manassas already carries more GA traffic than any other airport in Virginia, and the new authority means airline arrivals and departures will now share runways and ramp space with the based fleet. Owners flying in and out should expect a different rhythm on frequency and at the hold-short line once service begins.
