Northrop Grumman Confirms Project Lotus, an Autonomous Aircraft Program It Had Kept Undisclosed

Northrop Grumman has acknowledged the existence of Project Lotus, an autonomous aircraft initiative the company had not previously discussed in public. The disclosure puts a major defense manufacturer's name behind an uncrewed fixed-wing effort, a category most owners have so far tracked only through smaller unmanned systems rather than airframes built at this scale.
