Candy, Screens and Wedding Chapels Inside the Tower Beneath the New Year's Ball

· 1 min read

One Times Square, the slim tower at the head of New York's most famous crossroads and the building the ball descends every New Year's Eve, now puts its interior to work. Its upper levels hold rooms of sweets, walls of video and chapels set aside for weddings. Advertising sheathes the outside almost completely, so most people know the building only by its face. Now there is a reason to step through the door and see the rooms behind it.
