The farmhouse Lee Krasner and Jackson Pollock kept in East Hampton is getting fresh attention, paint-splattered barn floor included, as a major new exhibition turns back to the couple's work. The house itself has become part of the record: memory and inspiration are still legible in its walls and objects, the same rooms where two of the era's defining painters lived and worked side by side. It stands as one of the rare studio-houses where the art and the architecture were never really separate.
