Empty Rite Aid on Smith Street Finds a Buyer in Carroll Gardens

· 1 min read

The former Rite Aid on Smith Street, dark since last year, now has a new owner. Property records point to a co-owner of Happier Grocery, the neighborhood market, as the buyer of the long-shuttered storefront. No sale price has been disclosed, and no plans for the space have been made public. For now, the change is simple but notable: one of Carroll Gardens' most visible vacancies is vacant no longer.
