A "Guest House" in Chinatown for September

· 1 min read

For the month of September, a Chinatown address in New York held a show called "Guest House: Welcome Home," given over entirely to the work of Zhou Xuerong. The host was The Wang Contemporary, a nonprofit arts space in the neighborhood. It was the first time an American institution had given the artist a show. For a desk that follows how houses change hands, a title that invites the visitor in and welcomes them home was reason enough to stop by and take note.
