Skywalker Grill Puts L.A. Museum Dining Where the View Deserves It

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art's on-site restaurant comes from David Rockwell, who skipped the right angle entirely in favor of a curving, sinuous room built to open onto Los Angeles. The design lets Hollywood's skyline read as the main event, with the dining room itself following the same organic sensibility now defining the museum's public spaces. It's a rare case of a museum café built to hold its own against the art.
