Warehouses Get a Second Life as Showrooms

· 1 min read

Dealers across the design trade are reconsidering how buyers encounter their inventory, and one well-known name in the field, R & Company, has taken a notably direct approach: it has pared down its footprint and moved what used to be kept out of sight into the space where collectors actually shop. Rather than tucking excess stock behind a wall, the dealer is letting the storage itself become part of the browsing experience. The move treats density and volume as a selling point rather than something to hide, a small but telling adjustment as the design market rethinks what a showroom is for.
