Clive Davis's Art Collection Opens New York's Fall Season at Christie's
The music industry titan's personal art holdings will lead off New York's fall auction calendar this year, consigned to Christie's for a dedicated sale. The group includes works by Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and David Hockney, three names that have long anchored serious postwar and contemporary collections. As the season's opening sale, the Davis pictures will be among the first major lots New York collectors see once the fall calendar begins. Christie's has not yet detailed individual works or estimates ahead of the sale.
