Eight Works From Clive Davis's Collection Are Bound for Christie's This Fall

Clive Davis, the music executive behind decades of recording history, is sending eight paintings to Christie's ahead of the house's marquee New York sales this season. The group includes works by Andy Warhol and David Hockney, two of the defining names of postwar American and British painting. Christie's has valued the eight pieces at more than $35 million, a sign of the group's stature within the sale. The paintings will cross the block in New York, the city where Davis built much of his career in music.
