Designer Dana Barnes has worked out of a building with an unusual past: it once stood as one of the oldest Eastern European synagogues in the United States. That history is now part of the listing, as the property comes to market at an asking price of $10 million. It is a rare pairing of American religious architecture and a working design studio changing hands as one.
