James Turrell Adds a New Work to Superblue, the Miami House His Light Has Anchored Since Day One

· 1 min read

A new James Turrell installation has arrived at Superblue in Miami, joining a body of work by the artist that has been central to the experiential art institution since its 2021 opening. Turrell, known for sculpting light and perception rather than objects in the traditional sense, has had his work serve as an anchor for the space from the start. The new piece extends that presence rather than opening it, giving Miami visitors another chapter in the artist's ongoing engagement with the city.
