The Lucas Museum Opens in Los Angeles, and Someone Left a Banksy Inside

The George Lucas Museum has opened its doors in Los Angeles after years of anticipation, giving the city a permanent home built around the art of visual storytelling. Among the works on view, visitors will find one nobody announced in advance: a piece by Banksy, tucked into the collection alongside the rest. It is a small surprise inside a very large undertaking, and a fitting one for a museum devoted to how stories get told and who gets to tell them. Los Angeles now has a new address for both.
