SoHo Gets Its Art Deco Moment, Courtesy of Victoria Beckham

· 1 min read

Victoria Beckham has opened her first New York store, choosing SoHo for the address and Art Deco as the language. The boutique comes from designers Alexander May and Ole Lund, who built the space around the glamour of that era rather than a minimalist backdrop. For Beckham, the opening marks a return to the city where her fashion label first found its footing. The choice of SoHo, a neighborhood built on cast iron and craft, gives the Art Deco interior a setting worth the detour.
