A collaboration years in the making arrives at Tom Wesselmann's own New York studio, where the Pop artist's estate is teaming with painter Tomokazu Matsuyama for a joint exhibition. The pairing traces back to 2024, when Matsuyama was asked to contribute work to the Fondation Louis Vuitton's Wesselmann retrospective — an invitation that planted the idea for this new show.
