2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet: 701 Horsepower, Four Seats, No Compromise

Car and Driver has put the 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet through its paces, and the numbers alone make the case: 701 horsepower under a folding top, in a car built to seat four. It is an unlikely pairing on paper, a hardcore Turbo S drivetrain wrapped in the open-air comfort of a cabriolet built for passengers, not just a driver chasing lap times. The outlet's verdict was straightforward rather than skeptical, treating the contradiction as simply part of the car's character rather than a flaw to explain away. For collectors weighing where the Turbo S Cabriolet sits in the current 911 lineup, that combination of top-tier output and everyday usability is the detail worth noting.
