For GLE and GLS Owners, the 2027 Update Starts Under the Hood

· 1 min read

Mercedes-Benz has revised its two largest SUVs for the 2027 model year, and Car and Driver has already had both behind the wheel. Its drive found the engine and transmission combinations smoother than before, with that improvement standing out among the other revisions to the pair. The verdict was that the changes revive two models that have been on the road a while, rather than merely tidy them up. We have not driven the 2027 cars ourselves, so owners weighing a trade from an earlier GLE or GLS should read this as their account, not ours.

With reporting from Car and Driver.
