On Jekyll Island, Georgia, the Ford Bronco Goes to Work in Uniform

· 1 min read

Georgia State Patrol has added two Ford Broncos to its fleet on Jekyll Island, where it is the island's sole police presence. That job takes troopers past the end of the blacktop and onto the sand, so the agency picked a vehicle built for ground a standard cruiser can't cover. For owners who know the Bronco from trails and weekend drives, it's a straightforward vote of confidence: a state agency chose the nameplate for work on a Georgia beach.
