Hyundai has filed patent drawings that closely track the boxy, trail-ready proportions shown on its Boulder concept, a strong signal the automaker intends to build the off-roader largely as displayed. The drawings preserve the concept's squared wheel arches and stacked lighting signature, a rare instance of a show car surviving the journey to the assembly line intact.
