Amerman Racing's Repo Man Outduels His Own Stablemate to Take the Zuma Beach

Repo Man, a 2-year-old colt racing for Amerman Racing, won the Zuma Beach after a close fight with another runner from the same barn. With the win, his sire, Golden Pal, has his first stakes winner at the graded level. Golden Pal is a son of Uncle Mo, and Repo Man comes from his first crop. On the dam's side, the colt is out of Gran Nighthawk, a daughter of Awesome Again. The main contender was a stablemate, so the barn had a horse in front either way, and a young stallion's book now has its first graded black-type winner.
