Baeza Joins the Spendthrift Roster, Ready for His First Book of Mares in 2027

· 1 min read

Baeza has made his final start, and his next job is at Spendthrift Farm. He won the Grade I Pennsylvania Derby in 2025, and he will begin covering mares there in the 2027 season. Breeders can read his page quickly. He is by McKinzie, and his dam is Puca, a daughter of Big Brown. His own record carries a victory at the highest grade, which is the line a stallion prospect is judged by first. Anyone planning matings for 2027 can now find his name on the Spendthrift list.

With reporting from Thoroughbred Daily News.
