America's Best Racing has released its first rookie rankings of the season for horses on the road to the 2027 Kentucky Derby. It is the opening measure in a list that will be updated and argued over for months, long before any prospect sets foot on the track at Churchill Downs. For trainers, owners, and the barns already plotting a spring campaign, it marks the first official word of a season that has barely begun.
