The American SetFlamenco Draws The Opening Post At Saratoga For Gainesway And Graham Motion
The first race on today's Saratoga card, a $115,000 maiden special weight for 2-year-old fillies at 1 1/16 miles on the turf, goes off at 1:10 p.m. ET with Flamenco stepping into the gate. The daughter of Justify was both bred and is raced by Gainesway, keeping her debut inside the operation that brought her into the world. Graham Motion has her in his care, the same trainer who conditioned her half-sister, graded stakes winner Spendarella. It is a debut with pedigree and continuity built in before she ever leaves the gate.
