Flightline's Female Line Draws Another Seven-Figure Bid
A full brother to Powerline, the Flightline colt already generating buzz on the circuit, brought a final bid of $2.6 million on Tuesday. Flying Dutchmen signed the ticket for hip 351, betting that the same cross that produced his much-discussed sibling could do it again. The colt's female family carries its own credentials: first dam Park Avenue is a stakes winner in her own right, giving buyers a pedigree page with recent black type as well as a blue-chip sire. For a page built on one name, the bidding made clear the rest of the family matters too.
