Flightline's Newest Winner Finds Room on the Rail at Kentucky Downs

Monique En Vol needed only her first start to reach the winner's circle, taking her career debut at Kentucky Downs on Saturday. The two-year-old filly, sired by Flightline out of Monique's Candy — herself a daughter of the Argentine-bred Candy Ride — made her winning move through the stretch by finding room along the inside rail. It was a clean trip from gate to wire, the kind of debut a pedigree page remembers, with three generations of proven blood now backed by a winner's circle photo.
