A crowd of 6,000 turned out on Sept. 18 to watch Forever Young take the Jockey Club Gold Cup, one of American racing's most storied prizes. The colt left little doubt about the outcome, answering every challenge the field could put to him. For a race that has crowned champions for generations, this year's edition belonged to Forever Young from start to finish.
