Manny Franco added the Hopeful Stakes to his ledger Sunday, guiding The Good Life to victory as the 5-2 favorite on Saratoga's closing day. The colt, a son of Life Is Good, crossed under a jockey who has spent the meet at the top of the rider standings. The win capped what the wire described as another strong day of racing at the Spa.
