Hernandez Claims Riding Title In His First Full Season At Evangeline Downs

Harry Hernandez arrived at Evangeline Downs this summer as a newcomer to a full campaign on the Louisiana track, and by the season's midpoint he had ridden his way to the top of the jockey standings. He held that position for the remainder of the meet, never surrendering the lead once he had taken it. The result was his first riding title at the track. Trainer Landry earned a title of his own in the same standings.
