On His Last Morning at Saratoga, Mark Casse Closes Out the Summer With One Final Work
Before Hall of Fame trainer Mark Casse closed his barn at Saratoga Race Course for the season, he had one more piece of business on the books. On his final morning working out of the Spa, Casse sent Nitrogen and Sandman out for one last piece of work over the Saratoga surface before shipping out. It was a small, practical task set against a grand stage, the Hall of Fame trainer tending to the last details before the meet moved on without him. With that work completed, Casse's summer stand at Saratoga came to a close.
