Kentucky Boy Bourbon Marks Fifty Years at One Distiller's Still

· 1 min read

A new bourbon called Kentucky Boy will be introduced on Sept. 10 at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival, made as tribute to Chris Morris for his fifty years working as a distiller. The release is built around a single career rather than a season or a blend, timed to land on one festival date in a state that already treats bourbon as inheritance. The Kentucky Bourbon Festival draws a crowd that reckons craft in barrel-years and generations rather than in trends, and Morris's half-century behind the still sits comfortably inside that measure.
