Kerry's Kiss Makes It Four Straight Through The Gulfstream Rain
Kerry's Kiss ran her win streak to four Saturday, taking the Princess Rooney Stakes at Gulfstream Park in wet going that turned the going treacherous for the field. The daughter of Vino Rosso held off Simply Joking and Mother Nature to cross first, extending trainer Saffie Joseph Jr.'s unblemished record with the filly to a perfect four-for-four. The Grade III test drew a strong field to South Florida, and Kerry's Kiss handled the rain-softened track well enough to keep her record spotless.
