Mystic Guide's First Crop Adds a Fourth Winner at Los Alamitos

Pegram, Watson and Weitman's Mystic Ride made his career debut count on Friday at Los Alamitos, breaking his maiden in workmanlike fashion. The colt is the fourth winner already produced by the first crop of his sire, Mystic Guide, himself a son of Ghostzapper standing his first season at stud. For a freshman stallion, four winners out of one debut crop is the kind of early return breeders watch closely.
