The American SetOmaha Spirit Extends Her Perfect Start at Colonial Downs
The daughter of Omaha Beach broke her maiden at Colonial Downs this past July, covering a trip one-sixteenth of a mile shorter than what awaited her next time out. On Monday, she stretched out and stepped up in class to take the Rosie's Stakes over that same Virginia oval. The victory came without a blemish on her page, leaving her unbeaten through two career starts. Two-for-two, with a stakes win now on the card, is the kind of start that gets a young filly's name circulating well beyond the Colonial Downs paddock.
