Summer Starlet, a two-year-old filly by City of Light out of the Street Sense mare Act Now, dominated Saturday's Grade 1 Spinaway Stakes. The race ran under "Win and You're In" conditions, meaning her victory secures a place in this fall's Breeders' Cup. Thoroughbred Daily News had already tabbed her a Rising Star, presented by Hagyard, before the race, and the result did nothing to argue against it.
