The Whole Board, One Barn: Pletcher Sweeps the With Anticipation
Todd Pletcher sent out two of the three runners entered in Saturday's Grade 3 With Anticipation Stakes, and when the field settled, both of his horses were in front of it. Liam's Law, a two-year-old colt by Colonel Liam out of the mare Quickasakitten, crossed first, with his Pletcher-trained stablemate close enough behind to complete the exacta. In a field that small, fielding two runners from the same barn and getting them both to the top of the order is no accident of racing luck — it is a trainer's depth showing up exactly where it was meant to. For Liam's Law, still early in his two-year-old campaign, it is a clean, well-earned line to carry forward.
