The Glendronach's Newest Single Malt Pairs Sherry Casks With Red Wine Casks
The Highland distillery has released a 14-year-old single malt matured largely in sherry casks, with red wine casks used for part of the aging as well. It's a cask combination not often seen on a whisky carrying this kind of age statement, and it gives collectors and serious drinkers something specific to look for on the shelf.
