How Guests Find a Room, Not How They're Served in It, Is Where AI Is Landing First
Marriott's chief executive, Anthony Capuano, was asked where artificial intelligence is actually changing the hotel business today. His answer pointed not to the front desk or the guest room but to distribution — the search engines, apps and other channels travelers use to discover and book a stay. Capuano said that is the area where AI's effect has been the largest so far, ahead of any visible change once a guest arrives on property.
