Old Forester's Birthday Bourbon Turns Eleven This Year

The 2026 edition of Old Forester's annual Birthday Bourbon spent eleven years in the barrel before bottling, landing at 97 proof. It is the release the label's fans have nicknamed the "Unicorn" for how quickly allocations vanish once it reaches shelves and bar backs. Expect it to be one of the harder pours to find on drink lists this fall, in bourbon country and well beyond it.
