California Postproduction Boost Clears Legislature, Awaits Newsom's Signature

State lawmakers approved SB 2319 on Sunday, setting aside $10 million to draw editing, sound mixing and related postproduction work back to California. The bill now heads to Governor Newsom's desk, where his signature would activate the funding for local production houses and the crews they employ.
