Disney's Believe Will Sail Its First Voyage From Fort Lauderdale in December 2027

Disney has introduced Believe, the newest ship in its cruise fleet, and its first sailing will leave from South Florida. The ship is scheduled to depart on its inaugural voyage on Dec. 18, 2027. Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale will serve as its home port. Disney says the ship will carry a stage musical based on "Encanto," which will premiere on board. Passengers will also be able to attend a family dining experience themed to "Frozen." The company says these will be among several new offerings on the ship. For travelers in Broward County and nearby areas, the date means a new Disney ship will be leaving from a port close to home.
