Hollywood Veterans Join AMC's New Independent Film Venture

AMC Theatres, which operates more locations than any other chain in the country, has started a new company, Leawood Films, to bring independent movies to audiences. A group of longtime Hollywood executives will serve as advisers to the venture, the company said Monday.
