Tom Cruise said he is confident David Ellison will follow through on a pledge to release 30 films a year from the combined Paramount and Warner Bros. The actor made the comment on "The Pat McAfee Show," calling the plan "awesome" and saying he believes the studio will deliver on the number. The remark puts Cruise, one of the industry's most visible stars, on record backing the scale of output promised for the merged company.
